On\nMarch 31, 2021 the work on Second Language Acquisition Syllabus Design started.\nThe course \u201cSecond Language Acquisition\u201d is developed in terms of the Erasmus+\nProject 610427-EE-2019-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP Foreign Language Teacher Training\nCapacity Development as a Way to Ukraine\u2019s Multilingual Education and European\nIntegration (MultiEd).  <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

It\nis an elective course which is going to be introduced in the cycle of\nprofessional courses in the curriculum for Bachelor level full-time students\n(Philology and Secondary education branches of knowledge). <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

The\nparticipants from eight Ukrainian Universities (Zaporizhzhia National\nUniversity, Mykolaiv Sukhomlynskyi National University, Cherkasy National\nUniversity, Poltava V. G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University, Horlivka\nInstitute for Foreign Languages, V.N.Karazin Kharkiv National University,\nTernopil Volodymyr Hnatiuk National Pedagogical University, Precarpathian\nNational University) with the team leader Iryna Zadorozhna take part in Second\nLanguage Acquisition Course Design.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

         <\/span>Dr. Elisabeth Wielander (Aston University), who is in\ncharge of the course development procedure, shares her experience and consults\nthe Ukrainian partners of the MultiEd consortium.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

         <\/span>The team of the partners has to work out Syllabus of\nthe course, namely its aim, competencies, learning outcomes, to define and\ncorrelate program and course learning outcomes,that comprise students`\nknowledge, skills, communication, autonomy and responsibility.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

         <\/span>Three meetings have already been held. The themes of\nthe modules, their theoretical and practical components, as well as Learning\nObjectives and Outcomes have already been defined, discussed and approved by\nall the members of the team. <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n         <\/span>There\nis still a lot of work ahead, but well-coordinated and productive team work\nproves that the Second Language Acquisition Syllabus design will have been completed\naccording to the schedule by May, 15.<\/span>
